Corn Flake Macaroons
Yield: 14 Servings
2 Egg whites 1 c Sugar 1/2 ts Vanilla 1 c Coconut 2 c Corn flakes 1/2 c Nuts or whole salted Spanish -peanuts, chopped Beat egg whites until stiff and dry. Fold in sugar gradually. Add flavoring, coconut, corn flakes and nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto well-oiled baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees until delicate brown: 8-12 minutes. Makes 36 cookies.
