Cranberry Nut Bread 2

2 c Flour 1 c Sugar 1 1/2 ts Baking powder 1 ts Salt 1/2 ts Baking soda 3/4 c Orange juice 1 tb Orange zest; grated 2 tb Shortening 1 Extra large egg 1 1/2 c Cranberries; coarsely -crushed 1/2 c Nuts; chopped Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix dry ingredients together. Stir in orange juice, zest, shortening and egg until well blended. Stir in cranberries and nuts. Turn into greased 9x5" loaf. Bake for 55 minutes.
