Cream of Tomato Soup (4b's Recipe)
Yield: 4 Servings
3 cn (14 oz) tomatoes,diced 12 oz Chicken broth 2 tb Butter 2 tb Sugar 1 sm Onion chopped 1 pn Baking soda 2 c Cream Mix tomatoes, chicken broth, butter, sugar, onions and baking soda in a large pot and simmer for one hour. Heat cream slowly in a double boiler. (Do not boil!) Add heated cream to tomato mixture.
