Hearty Beef Stew

2 lb Beef, cut in 1" cubes 2 Carrots, sliced 1 lg Onion, diced 3 Stalks celery, sliced 1 cn Tomatoes; 28oz 1/2 c Quick-cooking tapioca 1 Whole clove 2 Bay leaves Salt and pepper (Old Fashioned flavor Iike Grandma's thanks to the tapioca!) Trim all fat from meat. Put all ingredients in CROCK-POT. Mix thoroughly. Cover and cook on Low 12 hours. (High: 5 to 6 hours). From Rival Crock-pot cook book, date unknown
