Kate's Butterscotch Caramels

1/2 c Sugar 1/2 c Corn syrup 1/2 Stick butter 1 tb Vinegar 1/8 ts Soda Chopped nuts Boil to hard-ball stage all ingredients except nuts. Stir to keep from burning. Cool. Add nuts and pour onto greased platter. Cut into squares.
