Lady Lee Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 c Butter or margarine; -softeneed 1 c Sugar 1/2 c Packed brown sugar 2 Eggs 2 ts Vanilla 2 1/4 c Unsifted flour 1/2 ts Salt 1 ts Baking soda 1 pk Chocolate chops; (12 oz.) 1. Cream butter with sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla. 2. Combine flour, salt, soda; blend into creamed mixture. 3. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased baking sheets. 4. Bake at 375 F. for 8-10 minutes. Makes 8 dozen 2 inch cookies. Variations: Add 1 cup chopped nuts or raisins.
