My Mother's Sour Cream Sugared Nuts

1/2 c Sour cream 1 1/2 c Sugar 1 1/2 ts Vanilla 4 c Pecan or walnut halves Mix sour cream and sugar in a medium-sized saucepan. Heat to 223? on candy thermometer. Stir constantly.
