Potatoes with Juniper Berries

1 1/2 lb Potatoes, peeled and coarsly -grated 1/4 ts Freshly ground black pepper 1 Red bell pepper, seeded and -diced 6 Crushed juniper berries Place potatoes in a colander and rinse well under cold running water. Do not drain, but place them in a skillet with other ingredients. Cook gently, turning occasionally, for 1/2 hour. Add water sparingly, as needed.
