Red Wine and Oregano Marinade

1/4 c Finely chopped onion 1/4 c Finely chopped fresh oregano -or 2 tsp. dry 6 Cloves garlic; minced 1/4 ts Pepper 1/4 c Dry red wine 3 tb Soy sauce 1 tb Extra-virgin olive oil 1 tb Red wine vinegar In blender container, combine all ingredients; blend well. Pour mixture over lamb chops, beef steak, or lamb or beef cubes for kabobs. Let stand at room temperature for 15 minutes to marinate. Makes 3/4 cup--enough for 4 servings of meat.
