Shoo Fly Cake

1 9-inch pie shell 1 1/2 c Flour 1 c Brown sugar 1/4 c Shortening or butter 1/2 c Hot water 1/2 ts Baking soda 1/2 c Molasses Make crumbs by combining the flour, sugar, and shortening. Dissolve the soda in the hot water and combine with the molasses. Pour into pie shell.Top with crumbs and bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes or until firm.
