1/4 | c | Fresh lemon juice |
1 | lg | Clove garlic crushed |

Salt; if desired, to taste | ||
Freshly ground black pepper; to taste | ||
1 | tb | Oil;preferably olive (optional) |
2 | tb | Minced fresh parsley |
Note; to make your own Tahini combine in a blender: | ||

1/2 | ts | Oil |
2 | tb | Water |
1/4 | c | Finely ground (in a blender or with mortar and pestle) sesame seeds |
