1Chako (chayote); peeled & sliced
Cauliflower; cut into florets
Oil; for deep-frying
BATTER
1cBengal gram flour (besan; chickpea flour)
1tsRed chilli powder
1/2tsGround coriander
1/2tsAsafoetida powder
1 1/2tbRice flour
Salt; to taste
1/2tsCumin seeds
1tsGhee
Water; as required
